SoundSpeed.net is the professional website of Gregory W. Madore. "Soundspeed" is also part of the cadence that is called after the sound recording device has had time to get up to the proper recording speed to be in synchronous operation with the camera.

After graduating from the Rochester Institute of Technology with his Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Film/Video Animation Production, Gregory decided to stay at RIT and assist in the development of a new degree program there, specializing in Motion Media Technology. Along that road, he assisted with the development of a SMPTE Student Chapter, an Internship Resource for the current students, and the Apple Certified Training Center.

Following his position at RIT, Greg moved onto a two year stint with Apple, Inc. as a Mac Genius. He worked in two different retail stores, one in Victor, NY and the other following his move to Los Angeles, CA in Glendale, CA.

Greg has since left Apple, Inc. and began his own computer consulting and training business. He also works in Hollywood as a dialog editor and production sound recordist. Greg keeps busy with the ever growing list of professional clients which his company serves. In addition, he is the author and webmaster of several websites.

COMPUTER CONSULTING

Greg's computer customer service background has almost entirely been spent troubleshooting, supporting and training customer's and clients on Apple's Macintosh computer systems. He spent 4 years in college working with the very talented individuals at the Rochester Institute of Technology's Information and Technology Services. He spent those 4 years doing Macintosh and Windows support and troubleshooting but extensively developed his skills on the Macintosh platform. After a brief staff position at RIT, he was hired by Apple, Inc as a Mac Genius where he excelled both as a customer service technician and a repair technician earning a reputation for being one of the best business.
